Lamb Chops are always seasoned well and tender. Sauces make it even better. Spinach and salad were great. I love the owners here, the gentlemen are always so nice and accommodating. Even let my son pick out a free drink while we were waiting. A must try location.
This place is fantastic! So good, I had to come back! My kids can be picky eater and this place satisfied everyone! We got the chicken and beef skewers, very juicy and flavorful. The portions were more than enough for my family. Every side that we tried seemed to hit the spot. The naan was fresh and crispy. The top customer service we received from Omar was amazing! Which is very refreshing considering the lack of customer service now a days. We've been twice and can't wait until the next visit. I highly recommend you check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Wow this place is amazing. The whole staff is always so nice. From the outside this place looks like a whole in the wall maybe you can get decent food but man every meal I’ve had over the last year has been consistent and I switch it between chicken kabob, chicken reshmi, salmon or shrimp. They are always so busy, so sometimes they don’t answer phone or there is a wait but that only proves that the food is awesome. It is definitely worth it. Oh and it is halal and taste fresh
Do yourself a favour and visit this restaurant. This little gem in waldorf is a rare treat to your taste buds. I have been to almost every high end restaurant in Canada and Usa ( Virginia and Maryland area) but Handsdown this is the best food I have ever eaten. I was so impressed by the simplicity, deliciousness , freshness and presentation of the food that I asked my server to talk with Chef. After speaking with Chef Hashim I found out that Chef has worked in Rasika restaurant in DC as Chef. For those who doesn’t know Rasika is the most prestigious Indian Restaurant in DC and wait time to dine is 3-4 months. I can go on and on for the quality of food and this restaurant. I highly recommend this to everyone who lives in the area. FOOD QUALITY - 10/10 Price - 20/10 ( The restaurant can charge more and people will pay ) Cleanliness - 10/10 AMBIENCE - 5/10 ( This place is a small place with low budget seating areas. Don’t feel discouraged though - still a great place to go and dine with your families ) Support this celebrity chef who’s has given DC few of the best restaurants in this century. When you visit ask Chef if there is something not in the menu you can also taste as he does a lot of catering’s and it may be your lucky day.
My first visit here was Saturday. Let me just say Omar did a wonderful job explaining everything from the menu items and sauces. I ordered the chicken and lamb kabob combo and it was very good. Naan bread was hot and fresh. I enjoyed the mix salad as well. I can't wait to try the butter chicken next time. Tell them Stephanie sent ya..lol.
A place that serves authentic kabobs and serves spicy dishes that serve true to their name. So, do not make the mistake of adding chilli sauce in their already spicy dishes. Their spicy chicken thigh kabob was cooked to perfection. The service staff is also friendly and responsive. Note: As shown in the images, the place seems to have two names at the time of this review.
This became one of my favorite restaurant instantly after i tasted the food. We ordered the combo 1, boneless thigh and lamb chops. Food was amazing. The potato was awesome. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed potato curry anywhere and enjoyed that much. Owners were great too. Felt like the Restaurant was new or may be redecorated and reopened. The chairs and tables were new or well maintained. Definitely this will be my go to spot if I’m in the area again. Update: I came here 2 more times and They didn’t budge from my fav list.
We stopped by for a late lunch, Kabob BBQ did not disappoint! The friendly cashier welcomed us upon arrival, and helped us with our order. We all chose the kabob route and it was pure deliciousness. I got the ground beef kabob and my family got the chicken kabobs. The family said it was the most tender delicious chicken they ever had. See you all soon.
Delicious! We dined inside today and the place was clean and organized, we waited about 10 minutes and the food was fresh and hot. I LOVE the ground beef and ground chicken combo #2. Will not disappoint. The meat tastes fresh and the Mediterranean herbs were pleasant in every bite. My husband swears by their chunk of chicken kabobs. The bread is fresh, made in a tandoori right behind the counter. The food taste helps me know it's fresh, but I can also tell it is just by the sheer volume of customers that come in quickly grab their bags and leave. The service was super friendly, we were greeted upon arrival and they said goodbye when we left. Excellent lunch!
Had a great kabob meal at Kabob BQ! We got the ground beef kabob and the lamb. Both were delicious and the chickpeas and vegetables sides were also great. Staff was friendly, I definitely recommend trying this place out! They also have the HipHop Chicken & Fish menu available but the kabob was what we came to try.
